Job description

We are seeking a strategic and creative Senior Marketing Executive to lead the development and execution of impactful marketing campaigns for our leading tech brands. In this role, you will be the architect of our marketing initiatives, transforming product insights into powerful stories that resonate with young Malaysian audiences. You will own the marketing plan from conception to launch, working cross‑functionally to drive brand love and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Marketing & Campaign Planning
    • Lead end-to-end strategic and creative planning for product launches and brand campaigns.
    • Develop comprehensive, integrated marketing plans encompassing communication strategy, key messaging, and multi‑channel initiatives (PR, Digital, Social Media, Influencers, Event, Retail).
    • Translate deep understanding of product features, user pain points, and market positioning into compelling communication ideas.
  2. Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Execution
    • Act as the central hub, working closely with Social Media, Creative Design, and PR teams to ensure consistent storytelling and flawless campaign execution.
    • Partner with Go‑To‑Market (GTM), Retail, and Telco teams to align strategies and ensure seamless product launch operations.
    • Identify, negotiate and manage strategic alliances with local and international brands that align with marketing campaign goals.
    • Manage project timelines, resources and deliverables to ensure campaigns are launched on time and within budget.
  3. Market Intelligence & Optimization
    • Conduct ongoing market research, including competitor analysis, customer segmentation and trend spotting.
    • Use data and insights to continuously measure, analyse and refine marketing strategies for maximum effectiveness and ROI.
  4. Data Analysis, Reporting & Budget Management
    • Campaign Performance Tracking: Monitor, track and analyse performance of all marketing campaigns against set KPIs (Engagement Rate, Reach, Conversion, ROI).
    • Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance reports to management, providing data‑driven insights and recommendations for optimisation.
    • Budget Administration: Assist in the management of the marketing campaign budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost effectiveness.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
  • 2‑5 years of proven experience in marketing planning, preferably within the mobile phone, consumer electronics, smart hardware or a fast‑paced digital marketing agency.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating successful, large‑scale integrated marketing campaigns you have independently planned and managed.
  • Strategic Thinker: Exceptional marketing planning and creative conceptualisation skills.
  • Integrated Comms Expert: Proficient in crafting strategies that work seamlessly across online and offline channels.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated proficiency in overall project management, execution and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Superb communicator: Excellent verbal and written expression skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all departments.
  • Analytical mindset: Strong research and analytical skills to derive actionable insights.
  • Language: Full professional proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is an advantage for preparing multi‑lingual marketing materials.
