A leading technology company located in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Marketing Communication Executive to develop and execute comprehensive PR plans aligned with yearly strategies. The ideal candidate will manage media relations, create impactful content, and oversee marketing promotional materials. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience, especially in organizing events, is required. Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for collaboration with Chinese counterparts.
Develop and execute comprehensive Press & Public Relations plans to align with yearly PR strategies and objectives.
Create compelling content and artwork to support PR efforts.
Monitor media coverage and actively engage with the press and public to enhance brand reputation.
Plan and set itineraries and schedules for PR activities.
Plan and develop effective marketing promotional materials, and ensure their sufficiency and effectiveness in the Asia Pacific region.
Execute approved industry trade shows, product launches, workshops, and conferences via prepared schedules and checklists.
Work closely with company counterparts to ensure seamless execution of all planned activities and arrangements.
Execute, track and prepare timely reports to measure public relation efforts & performance, customer satisfaction as well as relevant market trends and competitor information.
Manage PR media and marketing vendor relationships, oversee day-to-day production, and ensure campaign budgets and set schedules are adhered to.
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related fields.
At least 3 years’ working experience in relevant fields especially in organizing tradeshows/conferences will be a definite advantage.
Media editorial experience and/ or experience in handling press conferences will be an added advantage.
Good oral and written communication skills in all 3 main local languages – English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficiency in Mandarin is essential as the role involves close collaboration with vendors and counterparts in China.
Determined individual with decent multitasking ability is preferred.
