Job summary

A leading Malaysian firm is seeking an experienced professional to manage Organizational Design, develop HR analytics, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, and have 8 to 10 years of experience in a complex environment. Key responsibilities include supporting various HR processes and consulting with stakeholders to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Job description
  • Manage and support Organizational Design, Organization Structure, Job Evaluation and Job Description for Proton
  • Consults and work with business and functional leaders to assess business/function specific organization design projects and processes to enhance both operating effectiveness and productivity.
  • Maintain the consistency and integrity of the Job Roles within the business through effective systems and processes for Job Analysis, Job Descriptions, Job Evaluation and Organizational Structure design.
  • Review and propose revision of Policy and SOP for organization design, Job Evaluation and Job Description from time to time to meets business requirements
Organization Design
  • Manage and support Organizational Design, Organization Structure, Job Evaluation and Job Description for Proton
  • Consults and work with business and functional leaders to assess business/function specific organization design projects and processes to enhance both operating effectiveness and productivity.

Analytics
  • Develop HR reporting and analytics roadmap to support business strategy and HR leaders on providing insights and actionable data to support decision making and assess impact of HR strategies.
  • Develops and provides workforce analytics reports to HRBPs, HR Heads and Senior Management on trends associated with key human capital factors.
  • Design and continuously improving Company-wide HR metrics, reports and dashboards which are aligned with the HR and business strategies
  • Build and refine HR data and analytics capabilities with leveraging the HRIS system.
  • Apply analytic and visualization tools to to support decision making and assess impact of HR strategies.
  • Provides strategic and day-to-day leadership to a team performing analysis on HR data, metrics and reporting to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Work closely with IT department to define data architecture within HR systems to enable consistent and effective reporting services.
HR Digitalization
  • Study and propose automation of HR processes via HR Digitalization strategy.
  • Facilitates and consult with HRBP and HR Key Stakeholders to identify, plan and implement systems and process improvements.
  • Conducts technical evaluation and propose system providers that meets Proton requirements for Management approval.
  • Implement and drive HR digitalization key initiatives as per approved by the Management.
  • Plan, monitor and ensure the projects are carry out as per timeline.
  • Consult, advise and guide users on the HR systems
HR Strategic Reporting / Other Projects
  • Consolidates all HR Strategic reports monthly or as and when required by the management.
  • To ensure accuracy and timely submission on the above reports.
  • Consolidates data for Annual Management Plan (AMP) for HCA division.
  • To ensure timely submission of AMP to Finance.
Process & Compliance
  • Ensure all related operations are executed successfully in accordance to the Company’s business requirement and in compliance with all related statutory requirements.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree Specialized in: Human Resources / Business Administration / Organizational Design or equivalent
  • Total Relevant Experience: 8 to 10 years
  • Proven experience of organization design in a large & complex environment
  • Experience with big data analysis/tools & data visualization tools
  • Strong experience of capability mapping, organization assessment, organization structure and design, roles and sizing
  • Demonstrated track record of building client relationships
