Responsibilities
- Managing and developing plans for EFRT capability and capacity for transceiver products. Assessing and recommending improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of quality systems.
- Owning QA product and process health indicators, including DPPM reports, analyzing QA, test, and process failures to drive systematic corrective actions. Participating in cross‑functional teams dedicated to improving product quality and reliability.
- Verifying defects, handling lot disposition, managing shipment blocking or approval, generating and closing ICARs. Responsible for technical evaluations, providing NPI support, implementing and monitoring corrective actions, generating relevant reports.
- Coordinating with the NPI Team to ensure successful implementation of new products into mass production. Leading continual improvement activities by defining test or process problems, determining root causes, implementing effective solutions.
- Analyzing and following up on customer‑reported problems, focusing on implementing containment measures and corrective actions. Willing to support inter‑site assignments as needed.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering, preference for majors in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in transceiver module testing and solid understanding of optical technologies within the industry.
- Proven ability to manage quality‑related matters across incoming, in‑process, and outgoing stages.
- Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings and understanding GD&T.
- Knowledge and experience with mechanical CAD software such as SolidWorks and e‑drawing.
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with Greenbelt Statistical Process Control principles.
- Demonstrated analytical skills paired with a hands‑on working attitude.
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible in response to rapid changes in business needs.
- Experience in high‑mix, high‑volume manufacturing environments, and/or assembly, SMT, and PCBA manufacturing is advantageous.
- Good understanding of mechanical dimensioning and tolerancing analysis, familiarity with poka‑yoke principles, considered an added advantage.
