Job summary

A logistics company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced professional to manage transportation providers and coordinate supply chain activities. The successful candidate will ensure timely deliveries, manage warehouse inventory, and work closely with vendors for billing accuracy. A minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping across multiple modes is required, along with a Diploma in Logistics or a related field. Experience in the retail or fashion industry is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma level in a relevant field, logistics major is an advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Transportation provider management to ensure reliable and cost‑effective delivery services
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any issues that arise during transit
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate the movement of goods and ensure timely deliveries
• Track and trace the cost performance of supply chain with respect to business performance in alignment with contractual terms
• Collaborate with vendors for accurate billing to the right accounts
• Create and manage transit‑time dashboard accurately to provide reports to stakeholders
• Generate regular reports to provide insights into supply chain performance through system
• Ensure the adherence of warehouse team on inbound and outbound volumes by patrol and audit programmed to produce consistency goods, regulatory compliance products, and meet our expectations
• Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory and manage budgets
• Respond to and resolve complaints and problems

Education

• Minimum Diploma level in Logistics Import & Export Controls, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field. Major in logistics is an added advantage

Skills

• Inbound & outbound process flows, forecast & inventory management, distribution strategies etc. Retail products management is an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in sea, land and air shipping experiences or equivalent in the similar position. Experience in Retail / Fashion industry is an added advantage
