As a Senior IT Executive, the candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business needs, analyse data, and provide strategic recommendations to improve processes, systems, and overall business performance. The candidate also need to have a strong working knowledge in EDI EDIFACT standard and its implementation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze EDI requirements and workflows with internal departments and external trading partners.
- Design, develop, test, and implement EDI maps and integrations (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, JSON, CSV).
- Lead EDI partner onboarding, including testing, go‑live, and post‑implementation support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve transmission failures, data mismatches, and system exceptions.
- Monitor and maintain EDI systems, documentation, and compliance with standards.
BUSINESS ANALYSIS & STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT
- Lead complex business analysis projects, gathering and analysing business requirements to support strategic initiatives.
- Develop detailed business cases, process maps, and business requirements documentation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define business needs and translate them into technical and functional requirements.
- Develop and evaluate solutions that drive business growth, streamline operations, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and external partners.
- Lead meetings and workshops to understand business objectives and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Communicate business analysis findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders at all levels.
- Conduct in‑depth analysis of business data, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide data‑driven insights and recommendations to support decision‑making.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management, including KPIs, performance metrics, and ROI analysis.

- Lead the implementation of process improvements, working closely with IT and business teams to ensure successful integration.
- Mentor and guide junior business analysts, sharing knowledge and best practices.

- Collaborate with project managers to ensure the timely delivery of business analysis projects.
- Ensure all business requirements are captured, documented, and prioritised for successful project execution.
- Manage cross‑functional IT‑EDI projects from initiation to completion.
EXECUTION AND REVISIONS
- Collaborate with stakeholders on the design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of business process modifications.
- Plan and execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Provide support and prepare project documentation.
- Revise and establish application SOP under the IT department.
- Assess and evaluate ETP system security and work with security executives to comply with IT security policy monthly.
QUALITY ASSURANCE & TESTING
- Ensure that the application meets the required quality standards by collaborating with testing teams to develop and execute test plans.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure all issues are addressed before project launch.
- Oversee the post‑launch phase, ensuring that applications are functioning as expected and addressing any issues or improvements needed after deployment.
- Manage the application lifecycle, including updates, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
INCIDENT ENGAGEMENT
- Ensure timely escalation and engagement of appropriate teams.
- Maintain detailed incident records, documenting root cause analysis and resolution steps.
- Work closely with technical teams to diagnose issues, analyse impact, and determine appropriate solutions.
- Maintain a knowledge base of incident handling procedures and troubleshooting guides.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years of combined experience in EDI systems, systems integration, and business analysis.
- Understanding of software development processes and technologies (e.g., coding, testing, deployment).
- Strong understanding of business processes, data analysis techniques, and performance metrics.
- Expertise in process mapping, business case development, and requirements gathering.
- Strong command of data formats (EDIFACT, X12, XML, JSON) and integration standards.
- Knowledge of SQL, scripting, or API‑based integrations is a plus.
- High proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Exceptional problem‑solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI‑PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
