Senior Identity Access Management Engineer (Senior Enterprise Technology Engineer - IAM)

You will bring a broad base of Digital technical knowledge and a solid grasp of software delivery principles. You will be familiar in leading teams using lifecycle methods, with Agile delivery and the DevOps approach at the core. You will be skilled in the application of approaches such as Site Reliability Engineering in the delivery and operation of the technologies you deliver, working among multi-disciplinary squad.

As an Identity and Access Management Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting, developing, and implementing customer and consumer identity management platforms. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations to ensure flawless integration of identity management systems with existing applications!

Responsibilities
  • Advocate and lead security and safety culture, prioritizing the safety of our people and customers.
  • Work as part of evolving multi‑disciplinary teams (Software Engineers, Enterprise Technology Engineers, Designers, SecOps, Product owners) to deliver value through specialist skills.
  • Recommend and support the selection of strategic platforms based on business requirements and participate in major incident calls and on‑call support.
  • Maintain, optimize and automate the Active Directory ecosystem; handle service requests, incidents, problem management, and change requests related to ADS and its services.
  • Securely automate build and updates within Active Directory using pipelines, APIs and testing methodologies; PowerShell scripting preferred.
  • Possess deep knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Entra ID Connect, DNS, LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM, Domain Trust, AD replication.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure integration of IAM systems with existing applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM system issues, ensuring high availability and user satisfaction; proactively monitor systems and resolve problems before impact.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields; certifications in IAM technologies (IACSP, IAPP, ISC2) are a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting MS Active Directory, DNS, and Windows Server 2016/2019, and experience supporting Entra ID.
  • Proven knowledge of modern service delivery methods (SRM to ITIL) and product‑based delivery.
  • Development experience in at least one object‑oriented programming language (Python, Go, Java, C/C++).
