Job summary

A leading HR services provider in Malaysia is looking for an HR Officer to manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with labour laws. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management and 2-4 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing or F&B. This role offers a chance to implement HR systems and support workforce planning in a dynamic environment.

  • Minimum 2–4 years’ HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or F&B.
  • Experience with HR software systems is an advantage.

Reports To: HR Manager / Management

Job Purpose

To manage and support day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and HR systems in compliance with company policies and Malaysian labour laws, while supporting workforce planning and organisational effectiveness.

What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities)
  • Administer HR operations including recruitment coordination, onboarding, confirmation, resignation, and employee records
  • Maintain accurate employee data, attendance, leave, and personnel files (manual and HR software)
  • Support payroll inputs, overtime verification, and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
  • Implement and manage HR software / HRIS systems
  • Support disciplinary processes, performance appraisals, and employee relations matters
  • Communicate HR policies, handbook provisions, and company notices to employees
  • Coordinate training, internship programs, and staff development initiatives
  • Prepare HR reports, headcount summaries, and management updates
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies
What do we need from you (Job Requirements)
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years’ HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or F&B
  • Knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices
  • Experience with HR software systems is an advantage
