Job summary

A manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks an HR Manager to oversee and manage various HR functions including recruitment, payroll, and staff welfare. Qualifications

Overview

E Synergies is an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified company that specializes in OEM/ODM design and manufacturing of high‑end cable assemblies for industrial, agriculture, aerospace and military segments.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage HR functions such as compensation, manpower, induction programme, performance appraisal, resignation, etc.
  • Responsible for Direct staff payroll using Sage EasyPay.
  • Prepare statutory monthly contribution forms for Direct staff.
  • Draft letters of appointment, warning letters, memos, etc.
  • Actively involve in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting advertisements and managing the hiring process.
  • Oversee staff training and welfare.
  • Coordinate with government departments.
  • Stay informed of current Employment Act.
  • Partner with production units to develop and improve competency of human capital.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives and systems.
  • Support performance management processes.
  • Support management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Maintain and update personal records/files and staff records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Supervise the duties of the admin assistant.
  • Supervise and monitor staff transportation.
  • Maintain and update HR forms and training records.
  • Perform other HR and admin related duties and provide support whenever necessary.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource or related field.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in a Human Resource Department.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of HR functions: pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.
  • Familiarity with Sage EasyPay system is an advantage.
  • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
  • Outstanding organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
