About the Role

We are looking for a mature, hands‑on, and resilient Senior HR Officer to join our HR team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Department to manage daily HR operations and ensure smooth departmental functioning. We need a problem‑solver who can work independently and handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring we attract the right talent efficiently.
  • HR Operations: Oversee daily HR administrative functions, including maintaining employee records, leave management, and ensuring data accuracy in the HR system.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries; assist in handling grievances and disciplinary matters in compliance with local labor laws.
  • Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll and ensure timely statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) if required.
  • Reporting: Prepare accurate HR reports and analytics for management review (e.g., headcount, turnover, performance data).
  • Ad‑hoc Projects: Support the HOD in implementing HR initiatives, policy updates, and staff engagement activities.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3‑5 years of working experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound judgments in daily operations.
  • Good understanding of the Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and current HR practices.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and excellent interpersonal skills.
