Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia is looking for an HR Manager with at least 7 years of experience in human resources. The successful candidate will manage various HR functionalities, including recruitment, compensation, training, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and have strong coaching skills as well as familiarity with payroll systems like BrioHR. This is a critical role that supports strategic HR initiatives to enhance workforce management and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Manage site recruitment, compensation & Benefits, training & development, employee relation, safety, employee welfare, employees communication, payroll.
  • Assist management to drive site strategic programs and improvement.
  • Provide coaching and training to HR team.
  • Provide coaching and training to site HOD.
  • Provide coaching and training to HOD on employees performance management.
  • Drive site communication to ensure employees on all levels are align with management directions.
  • Drive and support HOD on yearly employees appraisal and salary adjustment .
  • Perform C& B market analysis to help company stay competitive on hiring retention of workforce.
  • Conduct employee relation survey to understand employees satisfaction rating, provide solutions when data is not favorable.
  • Manage and provide directions on day to day HR administration effectiveness improvement.
  • Manage & report labour standards to top management.
  • Liaise with counterpart at Headquarters in China, to prepare reports and HR forecasts.
Qualifications
  • Min Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development, with 7 years in the same capacity.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
  • Able to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team that provides overall company leadership and direction.
  • Knowledge in Payroll system, e.g. BrioHR, Worksy, HR2000 would be an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational management skills.
  • Affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement.
