Job summary

A global logistics firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, and employee relations. Candidates must have a diploma or degree in Human Resources or related fields, with 3–5 years of HR experience. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential. Role Overview

This role is best suited for an experienced HR professional who is comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, and managing both strategic and operational HR matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Operations & Compliance
    • Manage end-to-end HR operations for Malaysia, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance.
    • Handle monthly payroll processing (data preparation, verification, allowances, deductions, EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
    • Prepare annual EA forms, statutory submissions, and HR reports.
    • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company policies.
  • Employee Relations (IR/ER)
    • Handle IR/ER matters professionally, including warnings, disciplinary documentation, and employee consultations.
    • Conduct onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit interviews.
    • Review, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Recruitment & People Management
    • Manage full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation.
    • Support and guide Admin staff on HR-related and administrative matters.
    • Act as the main HR point of contact for all Malaysia employees.
  • Regional & Cross-border Support
    • Coordinate Employment Pass (EP/SP) applications and renewals.
    • Liaise closely with the Singapore HQ HR team for reporting, escalations, and HR initiatives.
    • Lead office administration and office operational matters.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of full-spectrum HR experience, preferably in a standalone or lead HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour law and HR best practices.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
  • Mature, independent, well-organized, and reliable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.
