A leading bank in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with at least 3 years of experience, particularly in the banking sector. The role involves creating key visuals for marketing, collaborating with various stakeholders, and designing impactful social media content. Candidates should possess strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and AI-powered design tools, with a portfolio showcasing relevant experience. This position is ideal for individuals with a proactive mindset and excellent time management abilities.
Key Visuals Development: Lead the creation of compelling key visuals for various marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
Development of motion graphics (standalone or adaptation from key visuals).
Adaptations: Execute multiple adaptations of campaign assets across different formats and platforms while maintaining design integrity and core messaging.
Digital Marketing Visuals: Design attention-grabbing digital marketing visuals that align with our brand identity and effectively communicate key messages.
Social Media Visuals: Content planning and design attention-grabbing social media posts that align with our brand identity and effectively communicate key messages.
AI Tools: Utilise AI-powered design tools to enhance creativity, streamline processes, and produce high-quality visuals efficiently.
Collaborative Projects: Collaborate closely with the group communication, business units, consumer marketing, copywriters, agencies and other designers to ensure cohesive and creative execution of all consumer-facing materials.
Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of the curve by conducting research and keeping up with the latest design trends, AI advancements, and digital marketing best practices to ensure our visuals are modern, relevant, and effective.
Brand Consistency: Uphold MBSB Bank's and the group’s brand guidelines, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all consumer marketing materials.
Photo shooting, video shooting, and editing.
Responsible for ensuring all visuals meet the requirements of compliance, legal, Shariah and branding guidelines.
Responsible for ensuring fast turnaround to meet businesses’ needs.
Responsible for the archive of all artwork copies and equipment.
Resume all roles as and when required.
Degree or diploma in Graphic/ Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, experience within the banking or financial services sector will be an added advantage.
Collaborative work style, effectively engages with partners and internal and external stakeholders.
Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects).
Experience with AI-powered design tools is a must.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, compelling visuals.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A portfolio that showcases the ability to create engaging social media content, key visuals, and adaptations. 360 marketing collaterals, visual development and adaptation will be an added advantage.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in spoken and written English with a good command of Bahasa Melayu and Chinese.
Ability to work fast and multitask.
