About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regional Finance Business Partner to join our team. This position is based in our Shah Alam office, with direct reporting to CFO – Industrial Automation APAC.

Responsibilities
  • Manage monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting and financial planning analysis
  • Perform pricing, costing, margin, transfer pricing, data and sensitivity analysis
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and sub regions to drive financial strategies
  • Drive improvements in internal control systems and oversee compliance initiatives like balance sheet reviews, internal audits and working capital management
  • Drive process enhancements and develop financial models and dashboards. Subject matter expert for Data Factory
  • Support the evaluation of potential investments, mergers and acquisitions
  • Drive strategic priorities, assignments and ad hoc projects as required
Qualifications
  • Education: Recognized degree in accounting / finance and member of a recognized accountancy body.
  • Experience: 5+ years in a similar role with a strong track record in financial management and audits. Regional experience partnering with business leaders to drive business strategy in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills
  • Emotionally intelligent with strong analytical mindset, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (English and Mandarin)
  • Mandarin language proficiency is desirable, as the position involves frequent interaction with Chinese-speaking counterparts.
  • Skilled in MS Office, ERPs and advance Excel. Cognos, Excel VBA, Crystal Report, Power BI skill sets highly preferred.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and under time constraints.
