Senior Financial Analyst, Regulatory Reporting

Job Description What is the opportunity? Our client is a specialist provider of asset services, custody, payments and treasury services. Founded in 1864, they are the 10th largest bank worldwide and the 5th in North America.

Overview The role supports the Malaysia team that enhances scalability, improves service quality and implements standardized processes globally. The primary focus is on regulatory reporting transformation and tool development.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely delivery of reports to the RBC CCAR team, coordinating with business credit risk, technology and finance teams.
  • Execute controls and provide results/documentation to the IHC CCAR team for review and consolidation, including data tie‑outs, profiling, edit checks, and period‑over‑period change explanations.
  • Create edit check responses based on the IHC CCAR timeline.
  • Help prepare the deck for the review and challenge meeting with the business.
  • Manage end‑to‑end FR Y‑14M and Q submissions to IHC‑CCAR.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; CPA or CA equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1‑3 years of professional experience in a financial services company, preferably in finance, risk, or regulatory reporting.
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize projects, and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Experience with general ledger responsibilities and knowledge of accounting policies.
  • Proficiency with Collection Objects (Array, Dictionary, List, Range, etc.) in VBA.
  • Working knowledge of data querying languages and analytical software such as SAS or SQL.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and drive lasting impact.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting or credit banking is preferred.
