Role Description

This position is based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Finance Executive with strong initiative and a hands‑on mindset to join our organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, audit, and tax, strong analytical capabilities, and good commercial finance exposure. This role will play a key part in fundraising support, financial modelling, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, contributing to business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to assist management decision‑making.
• Conduct variance analysis, monitor project profitability, and provide insights on cost optimisation.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely completion of statutory and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and MIA requirements.
• Manage cash flow, payments, and bank reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with business and project teams to review financial performance and pricing models.
• Drive process improvements and support the digital transformation of finance operations.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of total finance experience, including:
At least 4 years in an audit firm (Semi‑Senior or Senior level), and
At least 4 years in a commercial or IT services environment.

Strong proficiency in financial modelling, Microsoft Excel, and accounting systems (e.g. MySQL).

MIA membership if preferred and will be an added advantage.

Qualifications: ACCA, ASCPA, or other recognised professional accounting qualifications.

Good understanding of revenue recognition, project accounting, and SaaS/subscription‑based business models.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

High integrity, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
