Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Finance Executive located in Cheras.

Responsibilities
Full Set Accounting
  • Manage full set accounts including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and month‑end closing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial entries in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Handle invoicing, payment processing, credit control, and collection follow‑ups.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Analyze financial performance, variances, and cost structures to support decision‑making.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • Provide financial insights to management for strategic planning.
Compliance, Audit & Taxation
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including e‑Invoice, GST, SST, Income Tax, and HRDCorp.
  • Support audit processes and ensure timely submission of financial documents.
  • Maintain accurate records for tax filing, GST/ SST submissions, and government reporting.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with all team members to support operational needs.
  • Provide financial guidance on pricing, costing, and project evaluations.
  • Assist in improving financial processes and implementing best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience handling full set accounts and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, e‑invoice, GST, SST, and tax regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
