An education management company located in Malaysia is seeking a role focused on supporting operational areas including ICT systems, facilities management, and community engagement. This position involves planning for new campus setups, overseeing vendor performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. An ideal candidate will have experience in operational management and community outreach, contributing to the smooth running of school operations.
This role supports and executes key operational areas such as ICT Systems (in partnership with the Technology Team), Facilities, Risk Management, Procurement, and Outsourced Services. The role involves operational planning, campus readiness, vendor management, and ensuring that all systems and processes align with the school’s mission, standards, and regulatory requirements.
School campus establishment. Support the operational planning and execution related to setting up of the new campus, including working with internal teams, architects, contractors
Processes and Campus flow. Provide operational input into facilities design, traffic flow, and day-to-day workflows
Risk Management. Identify operational risks and support the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors.
Policies and procedures. Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures
Campus Management. Support the construction/finalization, to meet school standards and be responsible for maintenance schedules & facilities improvements
Health & Safety Compliance. Monitor compliance with local regulations and internal standards.
IT infrastructure. Support onsite readiness of core infrastructure (network, devices, basic troubleshooting coordination, vendor coordination)
Efficient Procurement Plan. Implement procurement strategies and processes
Vendor Management. Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers
Annual Vendor Assessment. Track and evaluate supplier performance
Vendor Oversight. Manage day-to-day service delivery for outsourced services including Security, Cleaning, Meals, Transport etc.
Annual Vendor Assessment. Regularly review service quality and ensure service levels are met.
Marketing & admission events. Collaborate with the school team to support and execute key events e.g. school fairs, orientations, and community outreach programs
