A leading chemical company in Malaysia seeks a Talent Development Manager to oversee training strategy development and execution. The role involves implementing leadership development initiatives and collaborating with department heads to design targeted employee development programs. Candidates should have a relevant degree and at least 3 years of experience in Talent Development/Training, alongside good knowledge of Malaysia Labor Law. Monitor and guide the development and implementation of the company’s annual training and development strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and future talent needs.
Oversee the execution of all training processes, including Training Needs Analysis (TNA), program design, facilitation, and post-training evaluation for continuous improvement.
Implement the leadership development initiatives and succession planning programs to build a strong talent pipeline for key positions within the organization.
Coordinate and guide the manage logistics, resources, and administrative support for training activities across all business units.
Manage and optimize the training budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated, monitored, and reported, while achieving maximum HRDF utilization through structured programs.
Maintain and enhance the company’s training records and database, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accessibility for decision-making.
Collaborate with department heads to design and implement targeted employee development programs, mentoring frameworks, and career progression pathways.
Lead, coach, and mentor junior team members to build internal capability and encourage a culture of continuous learning.
Implement the identification, selection, and evaluation of suitable training providers for both in-house and external programs, ensuring quality and value for investment.
Supporting talent acquisition activity when necessary.
