A property management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Executive for Building Management and Maintenance. The role includes ensuring effective operation of the building, conducting daily inspections, and managing maintenance requests. Candidates should possess good communication skills, be computer literate, and have 1-2 years of relevant experience, though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided. The work requires multitasking under pressure and liaising with various stakeholders.
JOB SUMMARY (major functions of position)
Responsible for the effective daily operation and upkeep of the building, including maintenance, security, housekeeping, car park management, landscaping, pest control, and waste collection. Maintain all facilities (e.g. toilets), M&E systems, and structural elements (e.g., walls, floors, ceilings) to a high standard to preserve safety, cleanliness, and the overall value of the property.
To conduct daily inspections of the premises including infrastructure, amenities etc. and prepare the report/ recommendation for the rectification/ improvement.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
To manage and coordinate all operational related matters of the Company premises including building maintenance, administrative and customer care service.
Responsible for ensuring all reports related to maintenance activities and equipment inventory are maintained accurately and timely.
Liaise with external vendors, service providers, tenants, contractors, and authorities and maintain good relationship.
Attend to and follow up on feedback, defects, complaints, inquiries, payments, and requests from tenants and internal departments.
To perform any other duty as and when assigned from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Possess good working ethics and self-starter. Able to do the work independently.
Communication skills – Good written and spoken communication skills & maintain professionalism.
Familiar with property management processes/ building maintenance practices/ strata act.
Familiar with residential building / commercial building.
Able to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
