Job description

About the role As the Senior Executive, Air Freight Operation at LX PANTOS MALAYSIA SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective management of the company's air freight operations at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Supervise and manage overall operations for Import and Export plus custom clearance knowledge.

Ensure the daily operations are up-to-date and all enquiries answered within same day or within 24 hours.

Monitor the response to rate enquiries from overseas and quotation provided timely.

Handle customer enquiries, complaints and maintain good rapport to fulfill their requirements.

Ensure preparation and processing of all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (work orders, departure, arrival, customs clearance, etc.) as specified by Standard Operating Procedures.

Oversee accurate completion of billing based on the pricing established/quotation while ensuring the accurate costs and profits are maintained.

Meeting time frame KPIs for escalations to the next tier levels for unresolved issues.

Monitor and ensure that all job files are closed as per timetable and to sign off all completed job files.

Ensure accruals are done correctly for month‑end closing and sign off accrual report.

Keep track of Shipment Data Quality Report and create demands in internal global systems.

Keep track of Mandatory Status Report and rectify the errors before monthly result is generated.

Training of the Operations Team in terms of SOP, Data Quality and system related matters.

Regular workflow briefing and workload optimization for the team.

To have basic understanding on ISO management system.

Review claims resulting from missing or damaged cargo.

What we're looking for

At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas is a must.

Freight forwarding and air cargo environment.

Diploma/Degree in Logistics Operations or related field.

Good understanding of trucking operations with industry‑leading SLAs and improving operations performance.

Proven ability to effectively work together with external transport vendors and partners.

Understanding the delicate relationship working with customers and sub‑contractors, from negotiation till completion of delivery tasks.

Demonstrate proven record of success in managing fluctuating volumes in a highly pressurized environment.
