Job description
Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Perform daily accounting functions, including month-end and year-end closing, preparation of monthly financial reports, and other management reports. Maintain and monitor the completeness and accuracy of all accounting records.

Assist in organizing and maintaining proper filing and record-keeping systems for accounting documents.

Prepare and verify reconciliation statements.

Assist with compliance and statutory filing matters.

Monitor, verify, and update fixed assets and other relevant schedules, ensuring they are reconciled with the general ledger.

Prepare audit and tax submission schedules.

Liaise with auditors and tax consultants regarding audit matters and company tax issues.

Assist in developing and upgrading the accounting system to ensure smooth operation.

Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.

Take reasonable care for Health, Safety, Environmental and Welfare as per the Occupational Safety & Health Act, company policy and OSH Management System.

Job Specification:

Qualification

At least diploma in accountancy qualification.

At least 3 to 5 years working experience to the related field.

Knowledge

Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software qualification.

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is an advantage.

Skill

Strong analysist and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently, maintain a positive attitude under pressure in a dynamic growing environment.

Willing to meet tight deadline and result oriented.
