• Drive cost reduction initiatives focused on bath life extension, spare parts optimization, and chemical usage efficiency.
• Oversee machine qualification and manage project execution to meet ramp-up schedules.
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team including Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the setup, process characterization, and qualification of new plating lines, including equipment, process, and utilities.
• Provide technical support for New Product Introduction (NPI), Product Change Notices (PCN), and ongoing production packages.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure effective training for operators and junior engineering staff.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives focused on bath life extension, spare parts optimization, and chemical usage efficiency.
• Oversee machine qualification and manage project execution to meet ramp-up schedules and quality objectives.
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team including Manufacturing Engineers, Technical Experts, PM Technicians, Chemists, and Lab Technicians.
• Ensure strict compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and chemical handling regulations.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or Manufacturing).
• Preferred: Master’s Degree or certification in electroplating/surface finishing.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in semiconductor or electronics plating processes.

• Knowledge & Skills: Technical: Electroplating fundamentals, SPC, DOE, equipment maintenance, bath analytics.

• Familiarity with quality systems (ISO/IATF) and EHS compliance.
