Senior Engineer - Maintenance & Facilities Paint Shop

Responsibilities

• Support production in daily operation by ensuring all equipment is in good health and safe.
• Troubleshoot and advise on production equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Plan and execute weekly, monthly, and yearly preventive maintenance schedules for sub‑ordinates for all equipment under supervision.
• Liaise with vendors during sourcing or purchasing of spare parts.
• Deal and supervise contractors when a project is carried out in the plant.
• Supervise sub‑ordinates carrying out their daily work.
• Maintain and update spare parts inventory to avoid long downtime in case of machine breakdown and needs replacement.
• Conduct in‑house training for all sub‑ordinates from time to time to enhance their technical skills and motivate them to excel.
• Assist superiors in planning and designing new equipment setup, project, or job requisition.
• Ensure all sub‑ordinates follow strict company guidelines.

Inokom is involved in the assembly and manufacturing of light commercial vehicles as well as contract assembly. Its manufacturing facility is located in Padang Meha, Kulim, occupying 200 acres of freehold land. Production first commenced in August 1997.
