Senior Engineer, Maintenance & Facilities/ Equipment

Must have experience in:
  • Machine electrical and machine mechanical repairing experience (PLC, Wiring, air connection)
  • Aircond & compressor repairing experience
  • Cooling tower management experience
  • Electrical (e.g. chargeman cert - good to have)
  • Lighting, water piping, toilet repairing, roof top, cabling installation
Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team. You will play an important role in:-

  • Complete all programming projects (control logic, HMI screens, etc) accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Department Manager in the development of programming standards and library functions.
  • Supervise and coordinate the day‑to‑day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems.
  • Oversee staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems (including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management).
  • Oversee Facility section, manage the whole facility activities including outside vendor or supplier.
Responsibilities
  • Planning and execution of automation and controls programming.
  • Responsible for programming automation and controls systems with respect to the needs such as circuit changes, add sub‑routine, add I/O due to addition components, or strengthening the safety interlocking feature.
  • Manage all the Governmental Licensing and Compliance relating to Facility, Maintenance and Building Management including Certification and Renewals.
  • Report to Operation AGM to deliver projects & tasks pertaining to the above.
  • Constantly review existing automation to identify areas of improvement related to machine efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost cutting measures.
  • Demonstrate programming leadership, ability to develop and implement standard engineering practices, and documentation upon project completion.
  • Manage the Maintenance systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, RBA/CSR Audit, and ISO 13485, to ensure the system are updated to date.
  • Address and close the NCRs from the Maintenance system in a timely manner.
  • Mid‑to‑long term strategic planning (if applicable).
  • Key PIC for Operation and Maintenance on the implementation of the Factory Track.
  • Key PIC for Operation and Maintenance on other AEM Digitalization projects as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Min. 5 years of experience as maintenance & facilities engineer in manufacturing environment.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar field.

Technical qualifications
  • Must have proven experience in PLC programming of Allen Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct, Mitsubishi, Omron, Toshiba, etc.
  • Must be able to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, and testing, and start‑up.
  • Experience with logic auto‑generation from templates is a plus.
  • Expertise in electrical system, mechanical, pneumatic system.
  • Able to read and interpret plant layouts, electrical schematic diagram/mechanical diagram, Bomba passive & active drawing etc.
  • Skillful in Microsoft Word / Excel etc. and computerized maintenance system.
  • Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
  • Skill in AutoCAD or any 2D drawing software is an added advantage.
