A leading plastic manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks a Project Engineer responsible for overseeing product development from design through to mass production. The ideal candidate will have at least a degree in Mechanical Engineering, excellent communication skills in English and Malay, and ideally Mandarin. Technical knowledge in plastic injection moulding and experience in the automotive industry are significant advantages. This role also involves preparing progress reports and coordinating closely with suppliers and other departments.
Responsible for the Project Engineering which include product development from designing until mass production.
To analyse, identify product and monitor the product development to meet customers’ requirement,
To liaise and monitor with the suppliers on all matters.
To prepare weekly and monthly timely progress report and coordinate development activities with other departments.
To analyse and identify problem in the development process.
Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Good command of English and Malay. MANDARIN will be an added advantage.
Technical knowledge in plastic injection moulding and in automotive industry is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge in operating Catia / Solid Work / Auto Cad.
