What you'll be doing?

Firmware Development: Design and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ for products featuring heater control, airflow/motor control, and IoT connectivity.

System Architecture: Architect and manage single- or dual-MCU systems, focusing on STM32 for real-time control and ESP32 for Wi-Fi and cloud communication.

RTOS Implementation: Develop firmware using RTOS, including task scheduling, inter-task communication, and interrupt handling.

IoT Integration: Implement Wi-Fi connectivity and IoT protocols for remote monitoring and control of smart devices.

Control Algorithms: Design and implement closed-loop control algorithms for precise heater and airflow regulation.

Sensor Integration: Integrate, calibrate, and validate various sensors to ensure accurate data collection and processing.

Hardware Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers on schematics, PCB layouts, and resolving hardware-firmware interaction issues.

Prototype Testing: Participate in board bring-up, early prototype testing, and joint debugging with hardware engineers.

Compliance Support: Assist in design verification, qualification, and compliance testing from a firmware perspective.

Manufacturing Support: Develop firmware tools and test code for manufacturing and production processes.

Safety Implementation: Design and implement firmware safety mechanisms to ensure product reliability and user safety.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation for firmware architecture and hardware-firmware integration.

Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional design reviews and best practices.

Who are they looking for?

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or Mechatronics Engineering, with a focus on firmware or embedded systems.

Experience: At least 5 years of relevant working experience in embedded firmware development.

Language Skills: Proficiency in Chinese and English, as communication with Chinese counterparts is essential for this role.

Manufacturing Experience: At least 4 years of experience supporting manufacturing environments for consumable, wellness, or medical products.

Specialized Knowledge: Good understanding of BLE protocols, ESD protection in software handling, and EMC/EMI considerations for firmware design.

Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with consumer and medical product regulations, such as IEC 62304 for medical software, is a plus.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and experience with IDEs like Keil, IAR, or Eclipse.

Innovative Mindset: Ability to contribute to innovative designs and adapt firmware to emerging technologies in consumer and medical fields.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensuring firmware reliability, security, and compliance in critical applications.
