Position: SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER ( M&E consulting company)

We are currently hiring for two (2) vacancies:

• Penang Head Office
• Kuala Lumpur branch

About Us: We are a leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering consultancy specializing in building services for industrial facilities, high-rise developments, and commercial projects. Our team works closely with architects, developers, and clients to deliver innovative, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about electrical design and coordination for complex building systems, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with fellow engineers in designing electrical services for industrial building/factories facilities, high rise, industrial park and mixed developments.
• Will involve in electrical power distribution systems design from low to high voltage (230V, 400V, 11kV, 33kV, 132kV), including TNB substation layouts.
• Participate in the design of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, such as CCTV, intercom, public address systems, and passive IT infrastructure.
• You will be responsible for producing electrical designs, calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for various projects. Fresh graduates will work under the guidance of a senior engineer who will serve as a mentor.
• Coordinate and prepare tender submissions, including compiling bid documents and evaluating post-tender outcomes.
• Serve as the main liaison with clients, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the design process—from concept to detailed design.
• Knowledgeable in submission procedures to relevant authorities such as TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and telecommunications providers would be added advantage.
• Enjoy a standard 5-day work week with medical insurance benefits provided upon employment.
• Ensure construction is carried out according to approved designs and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent with min 3 years experience.
• Engineers with a passion for design and with relevant experience in M&E services in building services industry or facilities management are encouraged to apply.
• Solid knowledge and experience in LV and HT electrical system design.
• Proficient in preparing and managing authority submissions.
• Strong technical and project management skills.
• Confident in presenting and communicating with clients and project teams.
• Independent, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
• Candidates with prior experience in a consulting firm will have an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in design and a passion to learn to be a professional engineer are encouraged to apply.
