The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering designs, PLC programming, project management, and ensuring quality control during the construction phases. Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in project bidding from the aspect of technical (material take-off, design drawing, technical document, system configuration, product/instruments selection) and commercial (request quotation from suppliers and costing preparation). Do site survey as per requirement.
• Responsible for engineering design and preparation of technical plans/proposal for new projects.
• Responsible for PLC control logic design, PLC programming, HMI touch screen design, writing of training material for system operation, writing of O&M manual.
• Responsible to monitor project schedule. Technical pass down for construction process flow, perform technical, process & schedule related discussion & communication with client to avoid site construction problem.
• Perform technical pass-down to all site workers according to construction work plan/ method of statement and acceptance criteria. All technical pass-down shall be kept official record with signature by both engineers & workers.
• Participate in solving technical problems during project execution. Participate in site installation work, system testing & commissioning work during construction. Report to superior and propose solution to solve site problem in time.
• Fix quality management target & quality control measurement, monitor and follow up quality control work along the whole project.
• Help the manager to monitor and manage site construction work from aspect of technical, quality and safety.
• Responsible to verify construction drawings and changes of work scope. Communicate with design engineer for any design related problem.
• Respond to site instruction from client.
• Check and monitor material stock level to endure smooth site installation process.
• Completing additional tasks arranged by superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics majors in PLC programming and control system.
• Minimum 2 year working experience in similar position is preferred.
• Knowledge in design and project management experience in the mechanical and electrical installation field will be an added advantage.
• Project management related training.
• Familiar with AUTO CAD, Office and other related computer software.
• Proactive, flexibly adapt to changes, responsibility, integrity.
• Good working attitude, able to keep good working condition under stress, good team player.
