Senior E-Commerce Executive
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior E-Commerce Executive to drive our online business growth across multiple platforms. This role will be responsible for managing the e-commerce team, developing sales strategies, optimizing online stores performance, expanding and developing online-exclusive products, and ensuring seamless customer experiences. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands‑on marketplace knowledge (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc.), and a data‑driven mindset to achieve revenue and brand‑building objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Operations Management
- Lead and mentor the e-commerce team (content, operations, customer service, performance marketing).
- Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations of all online platforms.
- Monitor team KPIs, provide training, and improve productivity.
- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Plan and execute online campaigns, promotions, and partnerships.
- Expand presence across relevant digital channels and marketplaces.
- Develop and expand the business of online-exclusive products.
Platform Management
- Manage all the brand stores on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and other platforms.
- Ensure product listings, pricing, and content are accurate and optimized.
- Coordinate with platform account managers to maximize visibility and promotional opportunities.
Marketing & Performance
- Work with marketing team to align digital campaigns and brand messaging.
- Oversee marketplace ads, affiliate, and influencer activities to drive traffic and conversion.
- Analyse customer behaviour and recommend initiatives to improve engagement and retention.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track sales performance, ROI, and campaign results.
- Provide regular business reports with insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated with e‑commerce trends and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an e-commerce role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia’s e-commerce landscape (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop).
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and campaign success.
- Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Candidate with a science background will be an advanced advantage.
