Job summary

A cutting-edge technology firm in Cyberjaya seeks a Senior Data Architect to lead enterprise-level data architecture and platform transformation. You'll be responsible for designing scalable data models, managing hybrid multi-cloud environments, and driving data modernization initiatives across Azure and AWS. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in data architecture and analytics, particularly in the insurance domain. This position is a 12-month renewable contract and requires working from the office in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise data architecture & analytics.
• 5+ years leading architecture teams & large-scale migrations.
• Expertise in Azure Analytics (Synapse, ADLS, Data Factory) & AWS Cloud.
• Strong experience with Oracle & MongoDB systems.
• Depth in Data Modeling, Governance, Security, & Performance Tuning.
• Insurance or BFSI domain knowledge is a strong plus!

Responsibilities

• Define the data architecture strategy & roadmap.
• Lead data modernization & migration programs across Azure & AWS.
• Architect Data Vault 2.0 and Dimensional Models for analytics.
• Manage hybrid multi-cloud data environments.
• Mentor teams & ensure strong governance, lineage & security.
• Drive cost optimization, performance tuning & BI reliability.
