Role Summary

The Senior Cost Analyst plays a vital role in supporting Bactiguard’s financial sustainability by delivering accurate cost analysis that directly influences profitability and strategic decision-making. This position requires close collaboration across departments to streamline cost structures, optimize pricing, and support overall financial planning and control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Costing: Prepare and analyze product costs, including material, labor, and overhead components to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Cost Estimation: Develop cost estimates for new and ongoing projects by evaluating requirements and calculating labor, material, and time expenditures.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform cost variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support business strategy and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, procurement, finance, and other departments to provide cost-related insights and recommend cost optimization strategies.
  • Budget Management: Prepare, manage, and monitor departmental and project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
  • Reporting: Generate and maintain comprehensive financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Pricing Management: Calculate and maintain product pricing structures, ensuring timely updates in accordance with cost fluctuations.
  • Inventory Costing: Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost tracking.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable accounting standards.
  • Month-End Closing: Support monthly closing activities, including preparation of cost-related journal entries and reconciliation of asset transactions.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Cost Accounting, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the manufacturing sector with a strong background in cost reporting and analysis.
