A manufacturing company located in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a skilled professional to oversee the end-to-end purchasing process. The role involves conducting market analysis, preparing tenders, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for company goods and services.
Conduct market analysis to identify competitive suppliers in terms of price, quality, and service.
Prepare and evaluate tenders, RFQs (Request for Quotation), and supplier contracts.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure procurement KPIs are achieved.
Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Planning and Finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare reports on cost analysis, purchasing trends, and improvement recommendations.
Resolve issues related to orders, delivery delays, or supplier disputes.
Support long-term procurement strategy and inventory management initiatives.
