Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure product quality and reliability. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to establish best practices in testing and drive continuous improvement in automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Create and execute automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and regression coverage.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior QA engineers, and ensure high-quality automation standards.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Monitor test execution, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation.
• Drive improvements in test coverage, efficiency, and reliability across projects.
• Stay up to date with the latest QA tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in test automation.
• Strong proficiency in automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Locust, k6) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin (read, write & speak) are highly preferred as this position involves regular dealings with Mandarin-speaking clients.
