Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with accounting standards
Payments & Receivables
Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, and staff claims
Monitor customer billings, collections, and aging reports
Follow up on outstanding receivables and resolve discrepancies
Taxation & Compliance
Prepare and submit tax filings (e.g., GST/VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax)
Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements
Assist in tax audits and statutory audits
Audit & Reporting
Prepare schedules and documentation for external and internal audits
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory authorities
Generate management reports and financial analysis as required
Budgeting & Controls
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control exercises
Monitor expenses and highlight variances
Support internal controls and accounting policies implementation
Administrative & Ad-hoc
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents
Support system implementation or improvements (ERP / accounting software)
Perform other finance-related duties as assigned
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–5+ years of experience handling full set of accounts
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero, AutoCount, SQL)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proficient in handling documentation and communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients, vendors, and external parties.
Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent)
Experience in manufacturing sector
Experience with audit and tax submissions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Time management and ability to meet deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
