Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible in preparing, reviewing and analyzing the full set of management accounts including GL, Fixed Assets, Inventory, AP/AR, journal entries and month-end closing.
• Responsible in preparing the cash flow projection and analysis for management reporting purposes.
• Ensure all the accounting records are properly updated and reconciled in the accounting system, in accordance with applicable accounting and reporting regulations.
• Proactively identify, report and resolve accounting related issues, discrepancies and abnormal transactions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of actual performance against budget.
• Liaising with bankers, company secretary, auditors, tax agents and other related authorities on company related matters.
• Provide support to operation team in day-to-day finance related matters.
• To lead improvement projects at Finance department.
• Assist in yearly audit exercise, prepare financial statements and corporate tax submission.
• Maintain proper documentation and uphold internal controls and accounting standards.
• Mentor and supervise finance staff when required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance with minimum 8 years working experience in Manufacturing Industry.
• Computer literate – Microsoft Excel/Word/ERP system and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong analytical skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to multi-task, plan effectively, commitment to continuous improvement and meeting tight deadlines.
