Job summary

A property development company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a finance professional to assist in managing accounts and preparing financial reports. Responsibilities

  • Assist/handle the closing of management account and financial statement.
  • Prepare management and financial reports in compliance with management requirements.
  • Execute payables functions including verification of invoices and claims.
  • Complete bank reconciliation and aging for payables and receivables.
  • Prepare audit schedule, tax computations, and estimations.
  • Assist in drafting audit report and reviewing yearly tax computations.
  • Monitor funds for efficient cash flow within the Group.
  • Liaise with tax agent, auditors, bankers, and related authorities.
  • Handle day-to-day administrative and operational activities.
Job description
Responsibilities
  1. To assist/handle the closing of management account and financial statement of monthly, quarterly and yearly;
  2. Responsible for the overall preparation of management and financial reports in compliance with management requirements;
  3. Ensure all payables functions which inclusive of verification of supplier’s invoices, expenses claim, project contract claim etc are executed within stipulated deadlines;
  4. Ensure bank reconciliation, aging for account payables and receivables are completed before closing of management account;
  5. Prepare relevant audit schedule, tax computations and tax estimation;
  6. To assist in drafting audit report and review yearly tax computations & tax return;
  7. To assist in monitoring funds to ensure efficient cash flow within the Group;
  8. Liaise with tax agent, auditors, bankers & related authority’s parties when necessary;
  9. To handle day to day administrative and operational activities and any ad‑hoc duties as and when needed.
