A leading accounting firm in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Account Executive to support its expanding portfolio of Hong Kong clients. Qualifications

Job description

We're looking for a Senior Account Executive to support our expanding portfolio of Hong Kong clients.

Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts for Hong Kong clients in accordance with HKFRS.
  • Manage and maintain clients financial records using Xero and other cloud-based accounting software.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, invoices, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements using Excel, Xero, QuickBooks, and other accounting tools.
  • Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support internal finance operations such as client invoicing, cash flow forecasting, and financial tracking.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members on various accounting projects, automation initiatives, and process improvement activities to resolve issues and enhance efficiency.
  • Utilize cloud-based HR systems to manage clients employee records and support HR-related functions.
  • Provide supervision and review of junior staff tasks, ensuring quality control and adherence to deadlines.
Requirements
  • Professional diploma or degree holder in accounting
  • 3 years relevant accounting experience,preferably handling Hong Kong-based clients
  • Experience with using Xero Accounting Software is a must
  • Proficient in using Excel for financial statement preparation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
