A local retail company is seeking an experienced Accountant to handle a full spectrum of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of retail accounting experience, a degree in Accounting or equivalent, and must be familiar with accounting standards and tax regulations. Responsibilities

Responsible for full spectrum of accounting functions

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly closing of accounts

Review and analyse monthly financial performance

Manage cashflow and funding requirements

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations and other regulatory requirements.

Reconciliation of the intercompany accounts, bank reconciliation, posting and balancing.

Liaise with auditors and tax agent

Assist in any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements

At least 4-5 Year(s) of working experience in retails accounting.

Degree in Accounting or professional qualification in ACCA, CPA or equivalent (Preferably MIA member).

Familiar with accounting standards, tax regulations, and filling procedure.

Excellent math skills and ability to spot numerical errors.

Organization and multi-tasking skills.

Possesses initiative and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, essential for liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients.
