Job summary

A local community district in Subang Jaya is looking for a Quarry Manager to oversee daily beach operations and safety. The candidate will be responsible for managing staff, enforcing safety regulations, and maintaining water quality at the Quarry. A high school degree and three years of lifeguarding experience are required, along with strong leadership skills. The position offers a starting pay range of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School degree and three years of lifeguarding experience required.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Applicant must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations and safety of the Quarry.
• Manage training of supervisors, lifeguards, and custodians.
• Direct patrolling of the Quarry and enforce safety regulations.
• Create weekly schedules for supervisors and lifeguards.
• Provide certification training to new and returning guards.

Skills

Aquatic instructor certification (StarGuard)

Strong swimming and/or lifeguarding skills

Effective leadership skills

Solid decision-making skills

General computer skills

Ability to communicate with the public

Education

High School diploma

3 years of lifeguarding experience

2 years of supervisory experience

Associate’s degree or college coursework
