Join our growing, dynamic team and take charge of end‑to‑end seafreight operations! We are looking for a detailed‑oriented and proactive individual to manage bookings, documentation, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all confirmed seafreight bookings and ensure timely execution.
- Arrange local logistics including haulage, trucking, stuffing/unstuffing, warehouse handling, DG applications, fumigation, and customs brokerage.
- Liaise with shipping lines, co‑loaders, vendors, clients, shippers, consignees, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and verify all shipping documents such as MBL, HBL, arrival notices, booking confirmations, pick‑up and delivery orders.
- Manage documentation from shippers and partners including commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, and fumigation certificates.
- Create and maintain shipment files in CargoWise (CW1) system, ensuring all milestones and documents are accurately updated.
- Submit mandatory EDI information (e.g., VGM, AMS, ISF, IC‑S2, ACI, Canada E‑manifest) to relevant authorities.
- Monitor shipment progress from departure to final transshipment and arrival, including follow‑up for PODs.
- Ensure compliance with client SOPs and service agreements.
- Verify and accrue correct costs and rates, and ensure timely invoicing to clients.
- Review and validate vendor and partner invoices, and coordinate with finance for timely payments.
- Proactively identify and report any irregularities, potential losses, or claims to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform timely job closures and month‑end closing with no outstanding tasks.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- At least two (2) years of experience in seafreight operations or freight forwarding.
- Proficient in CargoWise (CW1) or similar logistics systems.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude towards continuous improvement.
