About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Scholarship Programme Officer to manage the end-to-end operations of our scholarship programmes. This role plays a key part in supporting student development, coordinating programme processes, and ensuring a positive experience for scholars, applicants, and partner institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with school counsellors and principals through visits and briefings.

Promote scholarship opportunities and maintain a database of prospective students.

Manage the full scholarship lifecycle: applications, selection, onboarding, renewals.

Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with internal policies, donor requirements, and data protection standards.

Application & Selection Management

Handle enquiries, screen applications, verify documents, and perform scoring.

Coordinate interviews, panels, assessments and prepare reports for approval.

Prepare award letters and agreements.

Track academic progress and compliance; handle renewals, suspensions, or terminations.

Provide guidance on academic or administrative matters.

Stakeholder & Partner Engagement

Liaise with committees, finance teams, donors, and educational partners.

Support reporting, events, and networking activities.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

Track KPIs, maintain dashboards, and support impact assessments and audits.

Policy & Process Improvement

Assist in reviewing scholarship policies, enhancing systems, and supporting digitalisation efforts.

Requirements
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business, or a similar field.

2–4 years’ experience in scholarship programmes, education administration, CSR, youth development, or coordination roles.

Strong organisation and administrative skills.

Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and institutions.

Able to review documents, assess eligibility, and prepare reports.

Proficient in MS Office and online database/forms.
