A leading consulting firm based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced BI Consultant with over 10 years in SAP BW and BO. Responsibilities include defect rectifications and process chain monitoring. The position is for a contract duration of 6 months with a competitive salary range of RM 10,000 to RM 11,500.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of experience in BW / BO.
• Completed more than 5 project cycles.
• Experience in migration of BO from XIR2 to BO 4.0.

Responsibilities

• Handle defect rectifications for BI problems.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly process chains.
• Perform requirement study for Change Requests.

Job description

Responsibilities

• For production support the consultants are responsible for carrying out the defect rectifications to solve BI problems in the production system
• Incidence Analysis
• Defect Rectifications
• Process Chain Monitoring
  1. I. Monitor daily, weekly and monthly process chain.
  2. II. Troubleshoot all issue or error occurred during monitoring shift.
  3. III. Resolving issue related to process chain issue. It involve;
     1. a. Resolving from BW side
     2. b. Escalate if its involve other party
  4. IV. Process chain realignment
  5. V. Process chain housekeeping
• • Change Request (CR) For CR, the following activities will be performed where required.
  1. I. Requirement Study
  2. II. Design Specifications for BO
  3. III. BO Development
  4. IV. Technical Specifications for BW and ETL Development
  5. V. System Configuration (BW & BO)
  6. VI. ETL Development
  7. VII. BW Development
  8. VIII. Testing – Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (User Acceptance Test will be performed by user)
  9. IX. End User Training – if required

Qualifications

• Has more than 10 years of experience in BW / BO
• Has done more than 5 project cycles
• Core Expertise: BW 7.0 – 7.4, BO Enterprise XI 3.1 – 4.2, BO Xcelsius 2008, Webi, Lumira 1.3.12
• Experience migration of BO from XIR2 to BO 4.0
• Experience supporting client(s) under the Power and Utilities industries would be an added advantage
