Job summary

A food supply firm is seeking a Sales Support professional in Malaysia to coordinate order processing and manage customer inquiries for HORECA and Private Label products. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and excellent coordination skills. Job description

This Sales Support role supports our HORECA and Private Label (OEM / ODM) business through coordination of business orders, customer enquiries, internal inter‑department follow‑ups, and demand forecasts. The role focuses on order processing, monitoring ongoing orders, and forward planning, especially during peak and festive seasons. It goes beyond administrative work by developing a good understanding of customers’ products, ingredient usage, and business requirements. This position works closely with customers and internal teams including Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance to ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate order processing for HORECA and Private Label customers, and attend to customer enquiries, new account registration, quotations, quotation feedback, and sample arrangements.
  • Monitor ongoing business orders, follow up on repeat or upcoming orders and support forward order planning.
  • Process customer purchase orders accurately, ensuring correct product, pricing, and delivery details.
  • Understand customers’ business and ingredient usage to anticipate future needs.
  • Update customers on order or delivery status and notify of any changes.
  • Ensure all prices are up to date and communicate price adjustments when applicable.
  • Coordinate and follow up with internal departments (Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Logistics) to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Follow up with customers on demand forecasts to support raw material and production planning.
  • Maintain updated forecast tracking files and communicate changes in demand or usage trends internally.
  • Assist in product‑related support activities, including basic market research, competitor comparison, and ingredient sourcing.
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding payments and update the Payment Collection team on payment status.
  • Provide general sales and administrative support as required.
Requirements
