Job summary

A leading equipment provider in Ipoh seeks a skilled professional for customer relationship management. The role involves maintaining relationships with customers, advising on equipment needs, and meeting performance goals. Candidates should have a relevant diploma, a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar field, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationship with the allocated customers
  • Visit customers face to face and build relationships with decision makers, listening to and understanding their needs and business goals.
  • Advice customers on immediate equipment repair needs, service letters, Product Improvement Programs (PIPs), Product Safety Programs (PSPs), Scheduled Oil Sampling (S.O.S.), and Product Link (PL). Help customers with warranty issues and develop proactive before failure repair strategies.
  • Consult with customer about equipment, life cycles, maintenance, and replacement budgets and other solutions that will lower their owning and operating costs and support customer success and schedule maintenance, ensuring service technicians and field service know which equipment needs to be seen specifically.
  • Conduct equipment inspections, Custom Track Services (CTS), Technical Analysis 1 (TA1), and record the status of aspects of the machines using Cat Inspect.
  • Promote Cat Product Support Parts & Service offering to the customers
  • Analyze leads generated by Prioritized Service Events (PSEs) and use them to build call plans and sales goals.
  • Coordinate with parts, service, and equipment management division to support customer needs.
  • Plan and execute pre-call planning on a weekly basis to ensure effective sales coverage.
  • Use CRM system to log all customer visits, inspections, competitive visits, and opportunities, and to manage customer information like contacts and feedback.
  • Generate quotes for parts, service, and equipment management solutions.
  • Set sales goals with manager for specific targeting customers, reviewing data and reports on the quantity of equipment the customer owns, the lost sales opportunity in sales history, and engage in pre-call planning and preparation to visit customers targeting to solve customer's needs.
  • Meet performance goals such as target growth accounts, PAR call rates, conquest accounts, POPS targets and sales targets, as well as customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
  • SPM or Diploma in any field.
  • At least 2 - 5 year of working experience in the same field will be qualified, similar experience from heavy equipment industry will be an added advantage.
  • Must be proficient in IT with good command of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Possess good interpersonal communication skills and analytical thinking in addition to positive aptitude and attitude.
  • Good communication skills & Organizing Skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin is an added advantage as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
  • Ability to effectively use and maintain office equipment.
