Sales Representative – FMCG (Trading)
Job Responsibilities
Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets
- Execute sales strategies, promotions, and product launches
Outlet Coverage & Account Management
- Manage and grow existing retail, wholesale, and distributor accounts
- Open new outlets and expand distribution channels
- Plan and execute efficient route coverage
Order Processing & Coordination
- Take accurate orders and submit promptly
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics for timely delivery
- Resolve order and delivery issues
Merchandising & Visibility
- Ensure proper product display, shelf placement, and planogram compliance
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and FIFO practice
Collection & Credit Control
- Ensure timely collection of payments according to credit terms
- Follow up on overdue accounts and comply with credit policies
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotions
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback
Compliance & Professional Conduct
- Comply with company policies, SOPs, and ethical standards
- Safeguard company information and assets
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- At least a Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in trading
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in trading, wholesale, or distribution
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Target-driven with proven sales performance
- Good communication, planning, and reporting skills
Other Requirements
- Possess own transport and valid driving licence
- Willing to travel
- Willing to be relocated in Serendah (Rawang)
- Able to start immediately
