A leading water treatment solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking a sales professional to identify and develop business opportunities in various sectors, including water treatment plants and environmental labs. You will achieve sales targets through proactive lead generation and customer acquisition while maintaining strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include conducting product presentations and collaborating with technical teams to support client inquiries. Knowledge of water treatment instruments is essential for this role.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in industries such as water treatment plants, environmental labs, manufacturing, utilities, and municipal services.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through proactive lead generation and customer acquisition.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and provide ongoing support.
Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate water treatment instruments (e.g., pH meters, conductivity meters, turbidity meters, TOC analyzers, dosing systems).
Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and proposals.
Collaborate with the technical/service team to address customer inquiries, installation requirements, and after-sales support.
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in water quality monitoring.
