A leading recruiting firm is looking for a Sales Representative / Engineering Sales Manager to develop the market and manage client relationships for construction products in Malaysia. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of sales experience in the aggregates or concrete industry, strong knowledge of the Malaysian construction market, and proficiency in English and Malay. This role involves coordinating logistics, analyzing market demand, and following up on bids and negotiations. Frequent travel for client meetings is required.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of sales experience in aggregates or concrete.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing structures and supply chain management.
  • Existing client base in the construction industry preferred.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.

  • Develop the market and manage client relationships for products such as construction aggregates and ready-mixed concrete, targeting contractors and infrastructure projects.
  • Analyze local market demand, formulate sales strategies, and meet performance targets.
  • Coordinate logistics and supply chain to ensure timely delivery.
  • Follow up on project bids, provide quotations, and assist with contract negotiations.
  • Collect industry and competitor intelligence to provide market feedback and insights.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in the aggregates or concrete industry, with strong knowledge of the Malaysian construction market.
  • Solid understanding of bulk construction materials, pricing structures, and supply chain management.
  • Existing client base in the construction industry (preferably with developers, main contractors, or batching plants).
  • Proficiency in English and Malay is required; Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Must hold a valid driver\'s license and be willing to travel frequently for client meetings and regional assignments.
