A technology solutions provider in Penang is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead business development and manage the sales team. Key responsibilities include executing sales strategies, managing customer accounts, and driving revenue growth through collaborative solution selling. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in engineering or related fields, preferably with experience in the E&E or semiconductor industries. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with partners in the SEA/APAC markets are essential.
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts, manage the sales team and daily operations, and drive revenue growth through technical solution selling.
This role involves strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and strong engagement with customers across the industrial, manufacturing, and machine vision ecosystem—including machine makers, system integrators, and channel partners.
Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to grow CCS’s market presence.
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve or exceed targets.
Provide strategic business insights and recommendations to the management team.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and technology benchmarking to identify new opportunities.
Drive business expansion by building strong relationships with machine makers, system integrators, and channel partners.
Manage key customer accounts with high levels of professionalism and technical understanding.
Deliver exceptional customer service through close collaboration with engineers to propose suitable solutions.
Take ownership of vendor management and channel partner development.
Lead marketing activities, including product launches, events, demos, and joint projects with system integrators.
Develop sales strategies, promotions, and campaigns to support business growth.
Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of Sales Representatives.
Conduct regular sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Track, analyse, and report sales metrics to drive data-based decision making.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Robotics & Automation), Science & Technology, Marketing, or related disciplines.
Experience in E&E or Semiconductor industries is highly preferred.
Strong technical sales experience in SEA/APAC markets is an advantage.
Understanding of machine vision or industrial automation solution selling is a plus.
Experience working with Japanese MNCs or familiarity with Japanese business culture is beneficial.
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to balance both “hunting” for new opportunities and “farming” existing accounts.
Independent, proactive, sociable, and positive personality.
Proficient in English; ability to speak Malay, Mandarin, or Japanese is an added advantage.
Willing to travel locally and internationally as required.
