Job summary

A leading construction company in Malaysia seeks a Sales Manager to oversee heavy vehicle sales and fleet solutions. The candidate will develop and implement sales strategies, manage a sales team, and ensure strong customer relationships. A degree in sales or marketing is required, along with 5 - 10 years' experience in vehicle sales, preferably in commercial sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our heavy vehicle sales and fleet solutions, preparing sales policies, purchase and billing procedures, as well as establish sales systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and coordinate the sales team by setting sales targets, developing strategies, and overseeing the sales process. The role will be based at the Bukit Kemuning Workshop, Bukit Kemuning, Shah Alam, Selangor.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the sale of heavy vehicles and fleet solutions to clients, ensuring sales targets are met through effective customer engagement.
  • Prepare purchase and billing procedures, as well as establish sales systems.
  • Develop sales strategies based on market trends, customer insights, and competitor analysis, and present for management approval along with regular performance reports.
  • Able to lead, train and support the sales team by setting clear targets, enhance skills and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Determine the selling price of individual and bulk purchase for management approval.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong customer relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Lead negotiations of new and used trucks with clients to secure contracts for commercial vehicle sales.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage other sales duties and sales administrative work that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a degree in sales/marketing or any related studies.
  • Preferable with 5 – 10 years of working experience in vehicle sales. Experience in commercial vehicle businesses will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS office tools, specifically MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Possess good written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Skilled in strategic planning, team leadership, and fostering strong client relationships.
